ODC is delighted to announce that for the first time, it has been awarded an external research funding amounting to OMR19,900 (equivalent of $50,000) by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI) under its Block Funding Programme. This significant milestone aligns with both national research priorities as well as MoHERI's thematic focuses.
The research project in collaboration with the University of Dundee aims to describe, validate and develop the formulation of a novel restorative material evaluating its commercial and technical potential to address the needs of dental professionals and patients.
The Ethics, Research and Innovative Committee (ERIC) of ODC extends its congratulations to its Chairman, Dr. Abubaker Qutieshat for tirelessly working towards achieving this milestone and to the principal investigators namely; Prof. Nutayla Al Harthy, Prof. Mohamed Al Ismaily and Dr. Abubaker Qutieshat.
